American Manganese Inc. Receives Funding From the Government of Canada for the Development of Superior Electric Vehicle Battery Cathode Materials Recycling Technology
 



Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire) - Larry W. Reaugh, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Manganese Inc. (“American Manganese” or “AMI” or the “Company”), (TSX.V:  AMY; Pink Sheets:  AMYZF; Frankfurt:  2AM), is pleased to announce that it will receive a contribution agreement from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) for the continued development of its spent electric vehicle battery cathode materials recycling technology.

 

The Company has engaged Kemetco Research Inc. (Kemetco) to conduct the phased technology development program (previously described in December 16, 2016 release) with the goal of developing a complete flowsheet to maximize recovery of valuable cathode components while minimizing reagent consumption and addressing water balance in an environmentally friendly and economic manner.
