Erdene Resource Development (ERD-T)
Insiders continue to accumulate at Erdene, the beaten-up Mongolia gold play. The latest buyer is director Philip Webster, who purchased 10,000 shares at 34 cents. That follows last week's purchases by Erdene CEO Peter Akerley, 15,000 shares at 35-36 cents.

Great Canadian Gaming (GC-T)
Chris Lynn, the executive director at casino play Great Canadian Gaming, is locking in wins on a more-than-doubling of the share price in the past year. Lynn sold 7,000 shares at price ranging from $50.30 to $52 a share, generating more than $355,000.

Maxim Power Corp. (MXG-T)
Some big buying in power producer $MXG by Dragon's Den entrepreneur Brett Wilson and oilpatch titan Bruce Chernoff. The purchases, apparently through a trust they are both involved in, take their stake to about 26% of issued and outstanding shares (from 21.6%). Chernoff is chairman and interim CEO, Wilson is a director.

Osisko Mining (OSK-T)
Insiders continue to increase their stakes at Osisko, the cashed-up Quebec gold explorer, with Osisko cofounder and Executive VP Exploration and Development Robert Wares buying 10,000 shares at $2.32. Also picking up shares were CFO Blair Zaritsky (5,550 at $2.20) and Donald Njegovan, the VP New Business Development (15,000 at $2.26).

Sabina Gold & Silver (SBB-T)
Dundee Precious Metals is adding to its stake in northern gold developer Sabina. The latest purchase was 150,000 shares at $1.75, for a $263,000 investment. Dundee chairman Jonathan Goodman is a Sabina director. Dundee now owns more than 26 million Sabina shares, about 10.2% of the issued and outstanding total.

Taiga Gold Corp. (TGC-V)
President and CEO Tim Termuende continues to nibble on shares of Saskatchewan-focused exploreco Taiga Gold, a spinout from project generator Eagle Plains Resources (EPL-V). Termuende, also CEO of Eagle Plains, bought 14,000 shares at 18.5-19 cents. Taiga's Fisher property is optioned to SSRI Mining, which plans to drill 18,000 metres on the project this year.

Tourmaline Oil (TOU-T)
Oilpatch billionaire Mike Rose is increasing his already considerable stake in Tourmaline Oil, where he is chairman and CEO. Rosebuying 5,000 at $24.50. Rose is married to Susan Riddell-Rose, the daughter of oilpatch billionaire Clayton Riddell, a regular on Canada's rich list.
