DURHAM, N.C., March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading Christian higher education resource, Christian Universities Online (http://www.christianuniversitiesonline.org/), has published a ranking of the 25 Most Beautiful Christian Colleges and Universities in the West 2017.
In accordance with other rankings for aesthetic beauty published by Christian Universities Online, the 50 Most Beautiful Bible Colleges 2017 and 25 Most Beautiful Christian Colleges and Universities in the South 2017, this ranking took into account a variety of categories and weighted them equally to provide a ranking that would be as objective as possible. For this ranking, only schools that are members or member eligible of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) were considered. The following four categories were then evaluated for each school: 1) continuity of campus; 2) architectural style; 3) signature building(s); and 4) natural setting. As said, equal weight was given to each category to determine the final scores.
Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas, claimed the top spot on the list. Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Houston Baptist University of Houston, Texas, complete the top three.
