I'm an independent minor speculator/investor from Stockholm, Sweden who has been interested in mining since 2009. My long term goal is capital accumulation and to learn more about speculation, investing and the industry.

@zartceps@newstracker I read in the paper today that the Swedish grain harvest has dropped 12% from the previous year, and farmers are experiencing lower market prices. What isn't mentioned is the problems with subsidized agriculture and government support.
@zartceps@Newton - An interview with management about basic supply and demand would shed light on the situation. Is there enough demand for the potential capital deployment? Or does the company need to branch out into other streaming arrangements with alternate commodities? #Dividend
@zartceps@ourrug If I have some time over this weekend I'll come up with a few questions, and send them to management. If everything works out well, I would enjoy reinvesting the dividends for as long as possible.
@tommyGood question @zartceps. #gold is much more relevant to our community covering the gold sector as apposed to a sole promotion. I think it's tough for Brazil (formerly bri.v) or potentially we could add an extension: #gold.v for Brazil or something. @Murat any ideas? Promoter friend changed his symbol to gold but can't have our gold channel! Lol
@zartcepsI have a question to all of you, do you know of any good books on math and how to improve one's mathematical thinking? I don't mean economectrics, but how to do algebra, mathematical equations, percent, geometry etc. #Books
@zartcepsCheers for the tip @Allan, I'm already registered at Khan, and I'm currently doing the mission "The World of Math", I've completed the grammar course, and I am working on the course in Electrical Engineering. #Math#Engineering#Grammar
@zartcepsWhat are the main reasons for a spin-out to segregate some of the properties? Is it due to property concentration? Promotional reasons? That the properties all have in common that they are relatively unexplored and undeveloped? As a shareholder, I reckon that the value added here is the highlighting of those properties in that specific area as a play adjacent other mines. #Newbies$SMD
@zartcepsI've never seen that app/platform before, but something similar would be handy when writers post their articles, and you'll be able to feature them with small images. Perhaps the different most popular panels can have their small logos as well. As long as it inspires the users to do their own research, due dilligence, share ideas etc., then I think that it will be a good idea.
@zartcepsThe result from the Erut well is expected before the end of January according to a Swedish news source. There are rumours going around about "good results" according to some video clip where someone in Kenya comments about it. Keith Hill said that shareholders should wait for official news, since the well still could be a duster in the end. The company aims to increase the 2-C resources to one billion barrels (766).
@MiningBookGuy@zartceps - do you want the full, earlier edition? or the abridged one? I can get an ISBN for the earlier version, especially if you prefer buying older, used copies (or you can find it in a library)
@zartcepsDoes the the abridged version only feature the part on markets? @MiningBookGuy? I thought that I could ask you for the ISBN for the book(s) on your shelf. I'm browsing around after a few titles on the crowd and behaviour, and I don't want to pick up a dodgy version.
@MiningBookGuy@zartceps - i'm glad you asked! I forgot I included the ISBN's on my favorite 'bubble' books (another ceo.ca contributor asked me to do this a while ago). I highly recommend any of these books:
Specifically for ""Extraordinary Popular Delusions and The Madness of Crowds", the ISBN I have is: 0-517-541238 , a copy from 1980. I believe it's a 'complete' version. But it's hefty, and not easy to take with you.
Anyway, you can find ISBNs to all the other 'bubble' books in the notes below the youtube video. #books#bubblebooks (*EDIT - tagging to #mbgtrends in case others are interested)
@zartcepsI've made the decision to cancel a lot of news subscriptions from Canadian mining companies and entirely switch to CEO.ca for all news on drill results, discoveries, private placements etc this year. It's a better alternative, faster and it's easier to learn more about DD.
