@BenjaminCoxFirst mover matters, the fact is brine operations start up slower, and take more time, means that if you don't already have a brine resource you are behind the development 8 ball. Lots of projects already are known and being thought about. This is late in the story to be exploring for salts. (2/3) $ION
@alockett$CBK@Gianni doing a great job building strong relations with the Aleut Corporation and keeping shareholder dilution down to a minimum. This story has been told to investors all across North America at little to no cost to $CBK shareholders. Not many companies have the opportunity or ability to present their stories to such a wide audience. In addition, with Copper prices having such a massive run as of late option calls such as $cbk have seen little to no impact on their share prices and have been largely ignored by the street. I encourage everyone to watch @Gianni's presentation as he outlines possible upcoming catalysts and value drivers in the following video: https://vimeo.com/189204039 DYOD #copper
@capitalgainThey don't need to show 5 g/t. What they have been doing is showing the deposit goes much deeper into and through the Aspen and that it is a good host. By going twice the depth they are showing how big the deposit really is. Remember they have already doubled the surface area of the claim. Now they are going twice the depth as well. That should really grow the size of the deposit and the value of the business.
@racker9.14 meters of 1.04 g/t Au the best RAB result for Auryn at Committee Bay in Nunavut this bunch? @marketwired/auryn-reports-remaining-rab-drill-results-from-2016-e9a9f
Friday afternoon publication of this NR tells you everything you need to know!
New boulder train discovery to be drill tested in 2017 sounds interesting.
Chief geo Michael Henrichsen still sees potential for multiple high grade discoveries at Committee Bay.
$AUG hit a high of $4.17 in August and last traded at $2.19 Friday for a market cap of ~C$146 million.
@rockman@Edp007 Kinda sad to see #Trudeau praising #Castro, while #Trump basically mocks him. He should be recognized for what he was - a ruthless communist dictator who oppressed his own people for 60 years!
@ayeyou@Mr.Smokey This study of ice flow patterns at Schefferville says that there were two ice flow events during the ice age. First it went south/southeast and then later in the era east/northeast. This study was done for the Nfld. Department of Mines so it is very relevant to what we are discussing. The study area is only 100km from Sequoi so has local focus on a huge geological event. It is entirely possible that NRN has it right that the sediment dispersion train in the lake is from Sequoi. http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/cr1993/Liverman.pdf
@dekosc@camwow9 Just a word out of respectful consideration for both you and @Commoditypro in regards to investing or trading : Do your own DD, beit fundamentals or TA, make YOUR OWN decison, and then only, validate it with whomever you trust...
@rockman@teevee - sad but true! Toll roads, carbon pricing, etc. These are all just endless forms of taxation that contribute to the never ending demands on the honest, hard working citizen. Trudeau 's carbon pricing will turn out to be even more disasterous than his father's NEP! Just watch.
@ayeyou@Mr.Smokey Sometimes it is hard to grasp the enormity of nature. The ice on Labrador is said to have exceeded 2000 meters in depth !! The unbelievable weight and power of something like that has the ability to do whatever the hell it wants. I guess as the ice continued to build up in depth it caused fundamental changes in itself and caused it to change direction. At any rate I look forward to Ian being able to say "We told you so" as he holds a drill core like this.... http://www.classicminerals.com.au/images/projects/FraserRange-MammothNickelCopper-Core3.jpg+

@HRA-CoffinIts not about "everhang" Allan - whatever that is, its about the savings deficit the US has had for close to 20 years. The Donald can't generate the growth rates he's talking about without massive current account and trade deficits. It's got nothing to do with how "good" or "bad" trade agreements are, which neither Trump nor his closest advisors seem to understand. If you have a 1-2% savings rate and you want to generate 3-4% growth you're going to be running big current account or trade deficits in order to import the required capital. It's the only way you can get the math to work. Very similar to the early Bush years which were dollar negative and gold positive.
@statesideUS auto sales have peaked and are dropping, mortgage rates rising rapidly will stall housing, retail sales dropping, Trump lower taxes/infrastructure spending won't hit until later in 2017. We are overdue for a recession and no one is forecasting it - therefore it's more likely to happen.
Silver muppet I love the fact the step outs keep looking better and better.....this will only help the FS. I also believe the new mineralized zeins near current commercial zones will continue to grow and expand he resource substantially. My take is the current resource will be well over a million ounces when FS is done giving this project a great deposit. Rob's stated goal of finding more resources once mining should prove to be correct. I think LOM will increase greatly just from the step outs and new near area discoveries. We then add in the Yukon properties IDM has to be spun out and I see a great value for current shareholders. IDM needs to once mining begin to develop more of red mountain and begin a share buy back program to reduce shares outstanding. This company has a great set of properties, good management, and tremendous upside. This imho is a long term buy and hold.
@QuantumRegarding xrf gun,I own one, not sure on efficacy on core samples. An XRF gun is used on pieces of metal and will determine the relative percentage of each element. For example if I had a piece of type 316 stainless steel it would tell me the % of nickel, % moly, %fe, etc. However in metals the distribution is consistent throughout. In a core sample, there may be more of one metal on one side of core vs the other and I don't think the gun would be able to appreciate that.
@lukejackson$ERD hittting several stacked high grade intervals. Will be interesting to see how it opens. Still no position yet, but I assume the market will use this as another liquidity event. Maybe an opportunity...

@EvenPrimeI've got a good feeling about $ME this week, I want to reinvest in this one SO BAD right now. I made a bad call early Oct and burnt myself with $ME, I've been very poor (100% wrong lol) at predicting its movements since august so I'm going to pass on it but I have a feeling you guys are in a good spot. I've got a few stink bids if she drops back down to 21-22 but I seriously doubt we'll see it. Up almost 20% last week when all other gold stocks took a beating ... someone knows something imo.
