CEO.CA members discuss high-risk penny stocks which can lose their entire value. Only risk what you can afford to lose.
@Goldfinger@Allan I think more than just that trade through anonymous, probably the vast majority of TSX-V market participants have traded through anonymous at one time or another. On IB I can choose to be anonymous if I want, but I usually don't.
@AllanIf it isn't in the press release, I'm not talking about it. Our QPs know what they are doing and we are comfortable calling it a brine and that material is in the lab being tested for chemical composition.
@Mimibegalo@Therevealer For me @allan is answering more than any other CEO of all the companies I am invested in. He is a private email or message away and he answers fast. I asked my questions directly to him and he answered me. I am now waiting the results of the Lab and I'll be making my decisions based on that as a proof and not on swinging questions.
I email and phone call almost all the companies I buy in.. even if it is for the short term.. and never get as much answers as I get here from $ION.
Finally it is your opinion to get allergic to a company... And I believe that getting away from the allergen will help you avoid this allergic reaction.
@TheRevealer@Mimibegalo I think this is your problem, that you get to know the CEO on a more personal level, and thus, are more inclined to believe what they tell you. Despite my belligerent nature in this thread, my questions have all been valid and with basis. Not a single one has been answered adequately, especially considering those answers are coming from a CEO of a publicly traded company. The deflection and inability to answer my questions should have a serious shareholder like yourself quite concerned; and just because @Allan told you something on the phone or in an email, does not necessitate it is true - in fact, he can much more easily manipulate or misconstrue information in a private setting - just an FYI
@stateside@Allan - do yourself a favor and don't respond here. Tails they win, heads you lose. There's a reason no other president's of jr companies have this back and forth with anonymous posters. It's a waste of time. head down and plow forward.
@Allanthanks stateside. I agree for the most part, but I also know there are a bunch of people that check in to find out what is happening and like that I participate. I get a lot of emails, calls and at the few shows I go to a bunch of folks come to say hello. I even get people stop me in Vancouver to ask if it is me.
@AllanBryan, when $KNT came public a lot of the promotion was based on the people involved and that they were going to be a mining company. Lately, I've been noticing more about the company's exploration efforts than about the mining operation. The focus seems to have shifted to marketing the exploration, is that because the mining is not going that well?
@Allandano, just like any exploration project, they are all different. If something works in one place it may not work in another and the other way as well. You seem convinced that we are too small and low-grade before we have had the chance to test our salars for the soil with high-grade that is easily leachable to now sampling brines as well.
@CriticalInvestorYes, and I discussed the potential clay issue with @Allan at the VRIC, he said their lithium/clay type of particle distribution is likely different from Bacanora or Western Lithium clay hosted lithium, with better recovery potential. I have no clue about this, maybe he can elaborate a bit more on this $ION
@AllanCI, you can tell the difference from the leaching tests, at La Salada where we are drilling, we did weak acid leach tests and got 85% recovery. You don't get that from clay deposits like what Bacanora has.
@Allanthat El-Erian is a sharp dude and I wish more with his audience would stand up and say what has to be obvious to many. The Fed has lost its power, painted themselves in a corner, can't move rates in either direction and all they have left is to talk and the economy would likely be better off if they didn't.
@Allanrocketman, they can never dump that. Or at least for a very long time. I don't seeing them getting back to an economic situation where someone would be eager to take that off their hands for a really really long time.
@Allanrocketman, if they could find customers for their paper, they would be telling everyone. That is the big problem, they gotta sit on the house of cards. They try to blow it off and humpty dumpty has a great fall.
@Allannobs, I moved down here and wanted to get drilling as quickly as possible to see what we have, I ain't messin around here. Within a few weeks we should start reporting lab results for $ION. We are sending in a good amount of brine and soil samples for the near surface sampling down to the first 20 metres or so. We should have good news flow from all that work. Keep those fingers crossed.
@Allannobs, one thing has been consistent throughout my career in this business. I've always been involved with companies active with the truth machine. Now that I run my own, I want to get to the important answers as quickly as possible. My old pal Scott Weakes, RIP, always said, we want to kill em or make them live as fast as possible.
@Goldfinger$Bitcoin is also a great example of the importance of a tight float, there are 16,350,000 bitcoins in circulation right now. How many juniors have so few shares outstanding with even a modestly attractive project portfolio? @Allan should get this... #everhang
