@Samson@LucTenHave On $S2R.ax, I have been watching this closely for a long time. As you said, their management had success in the past, and they have some prospective projects. However, judging on total resources defined, the market cap has been too high for my liking in the past. Share price dropped to 0.205 today (52-week low was 0.18), and total diluted market cap is still CAD$ 54.2 M, for a total 264,000 gold resources. I feel that the valuation has already factored in management premium
@LucTenHave"Certain insiders of the Company, namely Delbrook Capital Advisors Inc. and Lotan Holdings Inc., have informed the Company of their intention to subscribe for Units under the Offering in the aggregate amount of $250,000 and $100,000, respectively"
@NewtonAlso very interesting to read about $AU in #Haywood report after interview with Mickey Fulp on $MAW recently. Aurion is prospect generator in Finland "Central Lapland Greenstone Belt". Like Abitibi, but without extensive development they say. Database with lots of rock assays and base of till samples over 350,000 hectares owned 100%. That is equivalent to 3,500 KM Sq. by my math, which is mind-boggling. Largest holding package I have heard of. Miles Thompson is an advisor. $12M cash, last financing at $1.57 for $8.7M, trading at $1.70 as of report. Market cap $105M. Report doesn't mention what sent shares from ~$0.50 to $1.80 in Feb 2017, but digging back through CEO.CA chat logs shows it was news of bonanza grade grab samples: @marketwired/aurion-discovers-new-bonanza-gold-zone-at-risti shoutout @LucTenHave for being in right place at right time there. Particularly this post: https://ceo.ca/au?4f30dd8ff3db looks like a bit of a rush there! #index
@stateside@LucTenHave - $NVT most on the board will only buy a stock after a discovery is made or when a paid email blast goes out or if a newsletter writer jumps on it. Don't expect any volume unless they hit a nice hole.
@LucTenHave@stateside I actually like companies that are not drilling yet. That's why I bought $nvt in the December PP. Because the odds of drill success are roughly 0.1% on a major discovery and 10% on a decent drill hole. Why would I bet on that structurally? I bought after the Finland drill results. I still think they may have a system of interest there. And Guinea is interesting - potentially some Ecuador news soon..
@Vaughanyou know, one of the best early stage speculators I have come across on this site is @Luctenhave. If you haven't been following him, subscribe to his channel now. Anyhow, I had a chat with him a couple of days ago and he also pointed out he doesn't want people just buying when he says a name: he used to do the as well and it never worked out that well.
@NickZed Hey BTW- do you have a Bloomberg Terminal? I've got one and it's awesome for stock screening. I read your other stock review $WLV and $KTO. In one of them you mentioned being able to buy some companies back in 2014 2015 for less than Wirking Capital. I'm going to set up a stock screen for this for minimg companies. I can send you the results if you would like. @LucTenHave
@stateside@LucTenHave - $NVT - always best if you can buy low enough to get a double before drill results come out, sell 1/2, and let the rest ride. That won't happen here as there is zero interest in this stock so to own shares you are betting they hit at least something of interest.
