@elsalvador@dirkdiggler Let's see if that monkey comes tonight who sells 1 bln of futures at the most quiet moment of the day. Online if he stays away I believe this trend will last for a few more days.
@dirkdigglerI know a few people who own and actively trade $gold@stateside - the only thing they seem to all have in common politically: they get daily feeds from the 'Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity'
@dirkdigglerRe BC First Nations: "An Indian says you search in vain for what you cannot find.
He says you’ll find a thousand ways for runnin’ down your time.
An Indian didn’t scream it, he said it in a song,
And he’s never been known to be wrong.
He’s never been known to be wrong."
@dirkdigglerThat reminds me (I gotta put this in a book): I was planting a contract mid island a number of years back. We planting Spruce and Fir trees on prepared ground....very lucrative. But big penalties were assessed if we got our micro-sites wrong (you couldn't plant a Fir in a Spruce micro site and visa versa). One evening we're at a strip club in a nearby town and as I'm making my way to a table, one of the strippers on stage strokes my hair as I walk by. 'Fred Head', a buddy of mine sitting in the back, suddenly yells out at the top of his lungs, " Hey Dirk...what do ya figure.....Spruce or FIR"?!
@dirkdigglerWell, all a guy can do is wax poetic; be philosophical about things: I still have air in my lungs, change in my pocket and a sweet gal on my arm......how much better can it really get? (Sen's force game VII)
@robmcleod@dirkdiggler NDP won't kill exploration in BC. Their mines critic Doug Donaldaldson (Stiline) is very supportive including continuing to support METC and flow-through. Agree on perception though, despite Windy Craggy happening 30 years ago.
@dirkdigglerYa, that was a knee-jerk response on my part @robmcleod. Hopefully the Green's can be convinced that mining isn't nearly as destructive as the fanatics would have you believe, and the permitting process remains status-quo. Perceptions though......that's the hurdle now.
@dirkdigglerIt's going to boil down to much more than personalities though @lukejackson. This is the first real acknowledgement and trest for the Green movement. Their party faithful will be looking for action; actions that are in line with their strict system of values and standards.
@dirkdigglerThe index used to be a really cool place to hang. These days......? It has its moments...but it's always good to take a few steps back to reevaluate. A few months perhaps (maybe then we'll see some posting limits installed - some 'make-every-post-count' type incentives). Adios.....ya'll
