31 of 431 people survived

Yup, that pretty much summed up 2018! Nothing really changed since my article back in early November (See article here) except it got a little worse. 2018 was like a relationship that went sour and we are all now on the rebound, eager to attach to something that will boost our ego, any stock that will say yes, I am a capable and savvy investor! Inner reflection may be the best remedy to a prosperous 2019. Well that and having a long talk with your financial advisor to make sure your risk management plan is in check. In 2018, I read more #LoadUp posts than ever yet this is all I seen ...

Look familiar?

Here are the most chosen companies in the contest (Notice $BOT at the bottom - aka $PLAY)

So with that said, let me again stress the importance of risk management and speaking with a financial advisor that can assist you in your decision making process.

Anyway ... moving on, not all was bad in 2018. Some people still ended in the green.

@Chainbreaker is the 2018 CEO.ca StockPickingContest winner with his Australian pick WFE that went from under half a cent to 2.5 cents.
