HOLLYWOOD, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2016) -  Mikael Marczak may be a young director, but his films are drawing accolades from some of the most influential reviewers in the film industry and was just name by the BBFTCA as the most inspiring director for September 2016.

The 33 year-old Polish native first gained recognition for his 2012 documentary, "F*** for Forest," which focused on one of the world's most bizarre charities. The Berlin-based non-profit organization F*** for Forest -- or FFF for short -- was created on the unique platform that sex can enact positive change. As a result, FFF raises money for their cause by selling homemade erotic films on the Internet. Eighty percent of the money raised from these sales goes toward maintaining the rain forest. Unsurprisingly, FFF is the world's first eco pornographic organization. Furthermore, FFF may very well be the only pornographic site created specifically to raise funds for a cause.

Audiences can't get enough.The Polish Film Institute recognized Marczak's "F*** for Forest" as the most frequently watched Polish documentary abroad in 2013.

While Marczak, who studied directing at The California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, has helmed the lens as a cinematographer for 2012's "Man at War" and 2010's "La Machina," he is perhaps gaining the most recognition for his most recent film, "All These Sleepless Nights."

The 2016 movie closely follows two young men -- the handsome Michal and the equally appealing Krzysztof -- as they navigate the everyday trials and tribulations of young adulthood in Warsaw.

In a recent interview Marczak succinctly explained the meaning behind the film: "It's a film about youth," he stated. "About the craziness of youth and the emotions associated with it," Marczak added.

"I'm getting over that period, but I still remember it very vividly. The idea was to portray those feelings, emotions, energy, and doubts, all of that."

Reviewers are impressed, often citing how Marczak's inspired directing often makes it feel as though the camera is just another character, with a storyline of its own.

Marczak has also worked on a string of additional titles including the documentaries "Sacred," "The First Day," (a short film), At the Edge of Russia, and "Photon," which is currently in post-production.
