@JamesKwantesOn $TKO, it was once a vehicle for shareholder wealth instead of shareholder destruction. When diamond specialist Paul Brockington left Richardson Greenshields as a mining analyst (he was replaced by Ray Gouldie), he put more than 2/3rds of his severance pay into Taseko (and other penny mining stocks). TKO ran from under $1 to over $20. Ominously, Taseko's flagship project -- then and now -- was Prosperity. Here's my December piece on Brockington, who runs Margaret Lake Diamonds $DIAhttp://blog.ceo.ca/2015/12/16/diamond-investor-diversifies-between-exploration-and-production-plays/ Interesting fellow
@ekimNice move by Margaret Lake Diamonds $DIA amazing what a planned drilling programme and some promo can do. #feedback - still have the wrong name. Met Paul Brockington at an AGM meeting for $PGD. He has his own company but keeps his talons in the Canadian diamond industry.
@ekimThere has been a lot of homework done on this diamond play. There is real potential here. The homework seems a bit dated..but that was more of a sign of the market not willing to fund a drilling programme then actually an argument against the potential. With the grades coming out $KDI, if $DIA hits a kimberlite and it has diamonds...it could have really good grade. After the few disappointments in the industry, a confirmed kimberlite intersection probably will drive this stock much higher.

@ekimFirst time in a long time that you can look at the basket approach in #diamonds in Canada. You could buy a basket of the operators -- $DDC$MPV$SWY or you can buy a basket of the developers/explorers -- $PGD$SGF$DIA . The former will pay you dividends, the latter have significant discounts to NPV's. Opportunity in both.
@ekim@jameskwantes you could short $swy and go long $mpv or vice versa depending on what you like better . Taking out the supply demand fundamentals. $kdi delivers more confident model numbers in two weeks. Don't short any stocks....but the crystal ball for kdi isn't looking good. $dia looks interesting if I bought venture stocks.
@ekimThe question is with the $1.2 million..if they get that..they will have ammo to target redemption again if they want to. or what else? Still think $DIA will get the most potential reward out of its $700K drill programme near Gahcho.
@ekim2 things I like about this play. 1 - They now have money to post some drillholes into the anomalies. 2 - Gahcho Kue just pulled a 50 carat stone out of the ground. The dykes at KDI don't seem to indicate a coarse distribution to generate that size of stone...but the potential for DIA's targets still leaves that on the table.

@ekimThis is very creative. Thumbs up for $DIA.
"The company also announces that it has implemented, subject to exchange approval, a warrant acceleration program, under which certain existing warrantholders holding an aggregate 4.5 million warrants exercisable into common shares at a price of 25 cents per share until Oct. 17, 2017, may exercise their existing warrants at a reduced price of 20 cents and be granted an additional warrant for each existing warrant exercised, each new warrant being exercisable into a common share at a price of 30 cents per share until Oct. 30, 2017. In order to participate in the program, existing warrantholders must exercise their existing warrants on or before Nov. 30, 2016. "
They want to bulk up the treasury ahead of the drill programme.
@ekimPrice is pushing 20 pennies...which is what they want to early exercise the warrants before Nov 30th. That could give them another $900K in the bank. In addition to the $785K they just raised..but they just now spent $200K on the JV. Could leave CAD$1.5 million to explore/drill with.
@ekimStock drifting on this stock. There was talk about a drill programme West of Gahcho Kue...but based on the last earnings..after a bit of financial clean up...there isn't a whole lot of money left to actually drill. Anyone see this being different? Maybe they should partner with $KDI to plunk a couple of holes into the property.
