@Excelsior@Bimbeebop - Yes, I like $SYH$SYHBF, and yes I've been following $GXU$GVXXF since those properties were spun out to them from Denison. As a shareholder in $DNN$DML they have exposure to GoviEx as strategic shareholders, so it's exciting to see their positive momentum lately.
There has been quite an awesome move in many of these #Uranium companies since the end of 2016 and it has been very encouraging to see coming out of those lows in U spot pricing. Congrats to all the Uranium bulls these last few months, as the fun is just beginning.....
anonymous@Excelsior The great thing about this rally is that we are now seeing which companies have the torque as the underlying commodity price moves up. It's like the market "showing its hand". I still think we're going to get a massive correction prior to the "big move", as it will take time to eat through the supply overhang. Long #UUUU#WUC#DNN and will be adding some #GXU once it comes back down to earth.- SFtrader
@Excelsior@Pon - It's hard to imagine #Uranium going back below $18 again (although anything is possible in resource investing); but it would appear that the bottom was the end of 2016.
Will it be a rapid rise up in pricing? Not likely, due to the oversupply situation, and while pricing may muck around in the $20's for a while, the trend will be heading up going into 2018 and beyond.
Could the uranium market be getting a bit ahead of itself at current levels? I recommend investors pull up a 5 year or 10 year chart and look at the recent move up coming out of late last year. It's just a little blip, and needs to be put into perspective.
The average investor (even the gold & silver investors that thought their bear market was bad) just don't realize just how extreme the move down in these miners has been since 2011.
For the miners to have clawed back a little bit is encouraging, and for those invested it seemed like a big move (and it was), but relative to the increases that will happen to many of these miners, this wasn't even the first inning of the game.... it was just the first base hit. ;-)
This chart that goes back to 2011 should at least put things into perspective of where we are today with #Uranium Miners, and how the recent rally factors into the big picture.
@Excelsior@FundamentalAnalysis - great points there and I agree with them for the most part regarding both companies. They've been in survival mode though, and had to make some tough calls.
I trimmed a bit in Jan and Feb on both $UEC and $UUUU$EFR just to take a little off the table, and have nibbled a bit at buying both back at reduced prices, but would like a little more pullback to deploy more funds into the sector.
Yes, $GXU has been on a tear, and I have exposure to them through $DNN$DML because Denison owns about 1/4 of their shares, and they are the ones that spun those properties out to them.
I'd encourage anyone to listen to the David Cates (form Denison) interview on Palisade recently to sum up the #Uranium sector on a macro level and what they are doing to move things forward, but there a nice section on their outlook for GoviEx as well.
@tcuThe boss at $DNN said in a interview in Jan, he saw no reason why $GXU shouldn't be over 1 billion market cap in a few years given the $URANIUM market perks up. That equates to over 3$ price with no further dilution. I also read on the SH board that someone got a reply from IR regarding further dilution. They said it wasn't in the cards and they plan to fund 250M of the 350 with debt. The other 100M would be done later on at a much higher valuation. Great response to a commonly asked question. That mill will get built, and with a Friendland at the helm, and backers such as denison, the lundins and Sprott aka Rick rule, there's no question they will have access to capital.
@tcu@SFtrader I also own a position in $DNN but it's far smaller than my position in $GXU I find $GXU more attractive as far as market cap and like how close it is to producing #URANIUM. As far as $SYH I like their option to acquire denisons Moore lake project in the ath basin. It's believed to be a sioux type of discovery which allowed McClean lake to go into production. They have had drill holes as rich as 20%. $DNN are also shareholder in $SYH
@FundamentalAnalysis@tcu I believe rick has been in cameco before. He might own that as well just for some guaranteed upside in the next run up. $UEC you might have meant, he is in that, along with $DYL. I'm sure he would get into $BKY.L it would not make much sense for him not to...thats going to be the first to get into production from today and expected to operate right at the bottom of the cost curve, but then again he probably couldn't get the warrants so not in it. I think $DNN was another he is in, must be with Lukas Lundin.

@Excelsior@MiningBookGuy - I believe anyone listening to Palisade could have gone as Collin talked about that Palisade Hard Asset Conference a few times leading up to it. Jeff Berwick hosted it with him, and Bix Weir was there, and David Cates from $DNN$DML Denison was the Keynote, and George Glassier from $WUC was there. You just had to fly down to
Here's the next one with a lineup of speakers. I didn't see @MiningBookGuy on the roster (YET):
* This Bix Weir #VIDEO was my favorite from the conference as it was right as he arrived, and he just makes me laugh. They'd be a fun crew to throw down with.
Bix Weir LIVE From Anarchapulco!
RoadtoRoota Feb 23, 2017
"Bitcoin is on a roll with little resistance until around $1,400 so load up!! I'm down in Southern Mexico after Amy & I endured many hardships getting down to the Anarchapulco Conference but we make it! Resting up tonight for a big day tomorrow with lots of great speakers and what's sure to be a memorable party afterwards."
@MiningBookGuy - Correction:
** I remembered this audio from David Cates coming out around the same time, but now realize that Collin's event may have been a few days before Anarchapulco. That event above was Feb 25-28th, but this audio is from Feb 22nd. (listen to the 27 mins and 43 sec mark at the end of this video and you'll hear this the smaller conference that was in Belize - Palisade Hard Asset Conference)
--- I apologize for mixing the 2 conferences up above, but they were back to back.
David Cates: Welcome to The Uranium Supercycle

*This was the event with David Cates from $DNN$DML and George Glasier from $WUC at it and where he did those Feb audio interviews afterwards. Matt Geiger was also at that event as a speaker, and we had all discussed his #PalisadeRadio interview a few times after that.
@rokidokiDnn investors are so beat up they don't see shorts knocking the price down on low volume days or after hours. Shorts will create red days 3-4-5% on the weakest volume, imo we're making it too easy for them.
@Excelsior$DNN$DML Denison Reports Assays Increase Grades by 45% and Deliver Most Meaningful Gryphon D-Lens Result to Date at Wheeler River
(Marketwired - May 26, 2017) #Uranium#DrillPlays#Exploration#AthabascaBasin
Nine holes totalling 6,330 metres were completed outside of the current inferred resources estimated for the Gryphon deposit, including four holes targeting the Gryphon D series lenses, and five holes down-dip of the A and B series lenses. The highlights from these results illustrate the potential for meaningful ~ResourceExpansion at Gryphon:
3.3% U3O8 over 13.5 m (including 11.8% U3O8 over 3.5 m) D series mineralization in WR-633D3
6.2% U3O8 over 2.5 m D series mineralization in WR-633D3
1.3% U3O8 over 3.0 m (including 3.8% U3O8 over 1.0 m) D series mineralization in WR-633D3
2.9% U3O8 over 3.0 m (including 8.5% U3O8 over 1.0 m) B series mineralization in WR-689
8.6% U3O8 over 1.0 m D series mineralization in WR-689
15.1% U3O8 over 1.0 m D series mineralization in WR-689 Dale Verran,
> Denison's Vice President of Exploration, commented, "This set of Gryphon assay results have exceeded expectations - particularly for drill hole WR-633D3, which now ranks as the best hole to date in the D series of lenses. These results re-emphasize the potential of the D series lenses to add meaningful resources to the Gryphon deposit, ahead of a planned update to the resource estimate for the project. This summer, in addition to the ongoing infill #drilling at Gryphon, we are planning to continue to explore the D lenses with the objective of defining high-grade zones and maximizing the indicated resources that will be included in the upcoming #PFS."
@rokidokiSalt in the wound to see UEC up %14 today. Denison needs to get on the PT Barnum circuit with R.R./ Katusa and the gang or this is going to the .30's. Meanwhile Adnani confidently promotes and outlines how his Uranium play is the strongest in town. Its all about the story and the confidence that you have. David needs to step it up and support this co. with more then just drill results.
@Excelsior@FundamentalAnalysis - I've followed $DNN$DML Denison since 2010, and there are few companies that are as connected in the #Uranium space.
I can't speak to the competencies of one $FCU rep at a show, but their management team has made a number of blunders, (one of which was how they gave the Denison merger the cold shoulder, because they thought they were all that....) then screwed up their ownership bringing in an Asian consortium and just jacked everything up. $NXE has far surpassed them as the go to #Exploration play in the #AthabascaBasin and $FCU has been in their shadow, and mired with water issues and a less interest ever since.
As for the FX affects on commodities - we are in complete agreement there. There does seem to be rising costs in many miners recently, so that could indeed squeeze margins even further. Cheers!
