@Allan we explain ourselves thoroughly in our news releases the way we are supposed to according to the reporting standards. Then we leave it up to the lab.

@TheRevealer Okay, but as the CEO, you do not know how they determined it was brine? you don't know the name of any tests they used?

@Allan I absolutely know how they determine it is a brine.

@TheRevealer and I am asking how, as was another person in this thread

@Allan I absolutely do, but we reported it the way we would like to tell our story.

@Mimibegalo @TheRevealer... @allan gave you his answers.. You only have to wait for the results...

@Allan If we put that info in the press release I could talk about it. Our QPs are comfortable calling it a brine.

@TheRevealer what does that mean? we reported it the way we would like to tell our story?

@TheRevealer don't you have to report it as it is presented?

@TheRevealer @Allan, just tell me how, simple question!

@TheRevealer what test did you use?? what was the determining factor?

@Allan If it isn't in the press release, I'm not talking about it. Our QPs know what they are doing and we are comfortable calling it a brine and that material is in the lab being tested for chemical composition.

@TheRevealer Ladies & Gentlemen, they have no idea if it is a brine or not!

@Mimibegalo @TheRevealer even if your question was 1+1 and @Allan answers you 2... you would still asking the same question and not trying to understand

@Allan You have every right to make your own conclusion.

@TheRevealer No, the press release indicates no methods of QA/QC or methods for determining it was a brine

@TheRevealer I just don't understand how this thread has not made you allergic to this company, @Allan cannot answer the easiest of questions - its really really concering

@Mimibegalo @Therevealer For me @allan is answering more than any other CEO of all the companies I am invested in. He is a private email or message away and he answers fast. I asked my questions directly to him and he answered me. I am now waiting the results of the Lab and I'll be making my decisions based on that as a proof and not on swinging questions. I email and phone call almost all the companies I buy in.. even if it is for the short term.. and never get as much answers as I get here from $ION. Finally it is your opinion to get allergic to a company... And I believe that getting away from the allergen will help you avoid this allergic reaction.

@racker well said re alergies @Mimibegalo

@TheRevealer @Mimibegalo I think this is your problem, that you get to know the CEO on a more personal level, and thus, are more inclined to believe what they tell you. Despite my belligerent nature in this thread, my questions have all been valid and with basis. Not a single one has been answered adequately, especially considering those answers are coming from a CEO of a publicly traded company. The deflection and inability to answer my questions should have a serious shareholder like yourself quite concerned; and just because @Allan told you something on the phone or in an email, does not necessitate it is true - in fact, he can much more easily manipulate or misconstrue information in a private setting - just an FYI

@stateside @Allan - do yourself a favor and don't respond here. Tails they win, heads you lose. There's a reason no other president's of jr companies have this back and forth with anonymous posters. It's a waste of time. head down and plow forward.

@Allan thanks stateside. I agree for the most part, but I also know there are a bunch of people that check in to find out what is happening and like that I participate. I get a lot of emails, calls and at the few shows I go to a bunch of folks come to say hello. I even get people stop me in Vancouver to ask if it is me.

@DanO If it is like that for $ion then it is awful. I gotta get back in front of my computer to answer that but what matters is not necessarily the porosity (volume of voids to the total volume of rock) but permeability or hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer i.e. how are the pores connected to allow the fluid to move through at a certain speed expressed in m/s or cm/s (the clay in the rock would obstruct the pores and their connection). The real test is to do a pump test or a packer test to assess the in situ permeability.

@DanO @Critical Like I said in my last installment there are differences in between their infill materials. The Li Triangle projects or Clayton Valley represent a Basin & Range type of setting - hi mountains surrounding a salar that is hosted by a block that enjoyed prolonged subsidence therefore is deep >1,000m and can host a lot of brine. In this cases the infill materials contain clastic material like sandy, gravel type which have a decent conductivity. The Mexican salar bowls are shallow and cannot host enough brine. They also should have a more clayish type of infill material which is not that permeable. $ion

@Allan dano, just like any exploration project, they are all different. If something works in one place it may not work in another and the other way as well. You seem convinced that we are too small and low-grade before we have had the chance to test our salars for the soil with high-grade that is easily leachable to now sampling brines as well.

@CriticalInvestor Yes, and I discussed the potential clay issue with @Allan at the VRIC, he said their lithium/clay type of particle distribution is likely different from Bacanora or Western Lithium clay hosted lithium, with better recovery potential. I have no clue about this, maybe he can elaborate a bit more on this $ION

@Allan CI, you can tell the difference from the leaching tests, at La Salada where we are drilling, we did weak acid leach tests and got 85% recovery. You don't get that from clay deposits like what Bacanora has.

@Allan rocketman, with good lab results there is always an audience. I have my fingers and toes crossed my $ION can deliver good lab results from our current drilling program.

@Allan nobs, I moved down here and wanted to get drilling as quickly as possible to see what we have, I ain't messin around here. Within a few weeks we should start reporting lab results for $ION. We are sending in a good amount of brine and soil samples for the near surface sampling down to the first 20 metres or so. We should have good news flow from all that work. Keep those fingers crossed.

@DanO @Critical When it comes to clays and other Li or K minerals or brine there are 2-3 different things there at $ion 's salars. I will wait for assay results before further discussing them. Until then let 'em bask in the sun and enjoy their Coronas. One thing though so I won't forget. They will most likely buy into a historic Zacatecas silver mine. Later.

@DanO @Critical I think $ion will option one of those mines sooner or later. Especially if they will not be able to find enough Li in their salars. $aax ? God knows what happens with that one. They have no assets right now. But you might be right and they could get one of those dusty fox holes for $aax as well.
