@JamesKwantes$ADG seeing a bit of action this am. Looking forward to seeing 2017 exploration plans for them and others in #Yukon. $KG out in front in that regard. Although nobody faster than $G who already have assays back from Coffee!
@Fischlaender@Stargate2 What would really make sense is to fly your survey over some of the Yukon, eg over $KG grounds, to help identify possible indicators for the still missing placer source. Similarly over SBGB eg $WHN areas as the license areas are simply too big to find anything without massive and expensive drilling campaigns.
@Stargate2@Fischlaender.....We had sent an email last year to $KG to express our interest in deploying a test program over over the Yukon holdings but never did receive a reply back.....The bigger the land package, the more beneficial our type of coverage platform becomes

@tommyKlondike drills visible gold and newly discovered Bonanza Fault could explain gold-rush source
Yukon gold explorer, Klondike Gold $KG has recently embarked on a summer exploration program to potentially drill off a gold mine. The first 4 of 50-60 planned drill holes have intersected visible gold according to a press release from the company this morning. These initial 4 drill holes are 50 metre stepouts from last year’s best hit (2.4 gpT Au over 37 meters).
CEO Peter Tallman believes Klondike is on to a bulk tonnage discovery, with potential for size. The newly discovered “Bonanza Fault” on Klondike’s property has a strike length of nearly 8 kilometers. Tallman thinks he can now explain the source of at least 8 million ounces of placer gold recovered from Bonanza Creek, Eldorado Creek and Victoria Gulch since 1896.
“Regionally, Golden Saddle, the Underworld discovery, is hosted by a D4 fault structure,” Tallman says. “Klondike, our property, has the same age structures, and what we’ve recognized, finally, is what a D4 structure looks like on our property, and we found one at Lonestar. What this means is… The game is on.”
The revelation is the result of logging drill core from 2016 and 2017.
“This map coupled with the detailed geology. We have an interpretive model of the big picture structures as well as a detailed map of the local faults that are the gold bearing plumbing system.”
“I’m trying not to drink the kool-aid but failing miserably.”
Assay results in the coming weeks will prove it or not.
@fscwire/klondike-gold-drilling-and-exploration-update (I am a KG shareholder. Klondike Gold has been a CEO.CA sponsor in previous years. I am biased.)
@tommyFuller disclosure: I have been in $KG since '13 and get excited about it every Summer, as does the CEO. Plenty of highs and lows since but yet to live up to expectations. Optimistic this time is different: technical results speak for themselves and we finally get Klondike in the dollars. Zero guarantees.
@HRA-Coffin$KG I like Peter. Our daughters are good friends. His practically lived at my place through grade 12. I like the idea of finding the source of the Klondike goldfields but lots of people have tried. His theory makes more sense than most I've seen but with Tommy pumping I'd better wait for numbers. You know how he gets...
@RocketRed@tommy nobody believes in $KG cause past ownership Facked it all up.Heck they got drill holes that were never assayed with visual gold HUSH HUSH come on boys get the show on the road #GODEEP :))
@RocketRed@fly007$KG if Peter has the Bonanza Fault Figured out and we see some hit deeper below look out $KG will be a hot one.Maybe them 250 metre holes are getting sniffs :)) Queen of Diamonds will be happy to
@Fischlaender$KG I love Tallman's optimism but I don't like the news "4 holes intersected visible gold!" because that can mean anything from mind boggling 1111 g/t to 1 g/t if it is only one (but visible!) gold spec in the core. What I would have preferred is that a) if it's significant visible gold put up some pictures or b) wait for the assays (like $NRG and with their recent grades there must have also been some visible gold). Smells like pumping news, I do hope it's not, I hold a bunch of $KG...

@Fischlaender@jamesKwantes if you have connections with $KG maybe you could tell Tallman to put some core pics up on the website so people can sort of verify that news.

@JamesKwantes@Fischlaender Just heard from Peter, it's less about the visible gold, but the fact there was some visible gold in 4 holes drilled in proximity to LS16-58, which hit 2.4 g/t over 37 metres. So good potential. I, too, am leery of visible gold reports -- there was visible gold in Violet Ridge holes last season that turned out to be dusters. Here's a photo of some of the flecks http://cdn.ceo.ca/1cktek1-KGvg.jpg+
@JamesKwantesNo that photo is from 1 of the 4 holes from this season @green. As I mentioned it's the VG plus the fact they're in proximity to LS16-58, which had similar gold flecks. The assays will tell the tale, as always

@FischlaenderThanks @JamesKwantes for following up! That pic is exactly what I feared this grandesque "We hit visible gold!" looks like... If those assays are not at least similar to LS 16-58 I fear Tallmann has blown it for good and people will not be willing to sink more money into $KG for a while, after all you can cry wolf only so many times. Why not wait for the assays in the first place, I don't understand this kind of attitude. The other company that permanently overpromoted visible cores in recent times is $MUN and look what happened to them following the release of disappointing assays after preceding NRs on "highly encouraging visible cores".

@RocketRed@Fischlaender$KG over promoted? $WGO$SKP Nothing wrong with reporting Visual Gold as the holes are not far away from hole 58 so I would think the assays will be very in line to being the same.Look no further than $AZS news release now that was pure hype.
@tommy"Klondike Gold Drilling and Exploration Update" was the latest NR title. Subdued. If I was Peter it would have been "Klondike Discovers Visible Gold in First 4 of 60 Planned Summer Drill Holes," or something more sensational. He's trying to be credible. Not expecting bonanza grades in the VG. Agree he needs to deliver consistent hits like LS16-58. I'm excited for the summer season up there... again.
