@AldenTyrell It's almost temping to buy some nsu calls but they aren't super cheap.

@soulMiner @wannabeinvestor You may be right but it's still a possibility. Bisha can be spun off to the Chinese. Deals can be done. The Chinese are buying RTB Bor and are another possible suitor. They have strong backing by the Serbian President and are desperately looking for an operator to get their mining industry back on track. Personally I am just waiting for the LZ drill results to arrive, hopefully in two months time. If they are very strong we may start to get support back into the SP. In the long run I think it would be beneficial for all shareholders if Nevsun develop Timok.

@bslusarchuk @soulMiner my bottom fish picks (for what its worth, and if you looked at my brokerage account recent buys, you definitely would not put too much credence in this, and with the caveat that i think the $knt, $ken and $fcc are cheap but i wont include them due to bias)................... $CNL (Continental), $ATY (Atico) and $NSU (Nevsun)....these are three companies I'm not associated with that i am a buyer of.....

@soulMiner Thanks @bslusarchuk. Always interested. I own $NSU. Was considering buying $CNL. As @nobshere says there are so many things to buy but limited funds. Am about fully invested here actually. Although just started a position in $SAU which looks very interesting and I intend to add over the coming days/weeks.

@bslusarchuk yes....but the $nsu and $cnl are marginable, haha. I am a buyer of these for (relatively speaking, to me) size. First recent buys on both going in tomorrow and I am going to look to own a position as to 50% (add to current long term position) and 50% for a trade.

@bslusarchuk $NSU and $CNL will buy for size tomorrow and will continue to accumulate a little $aty, but slowly.

@bslusarchuk @rocketRed I'm not sure of your track record picking bottoms and tops (I never try to do so) but likely better than mine. So, good luck as to $2.30 on CNL. Ill be a buyer tomorrow (higher than the entry you want, likely $2.75ish I see) and also a buyer tomorrow on $nsu. I'm comfortable owning both. As to $aty, I will be a buyer but its not extremely liquid so will continue to accumulate and maybe will miss a little bit versus what a want. Trading is a mugs game - but you have to be an asset buyer when you think things are over-done and a seller when froth exists. Tomorrow, I'm a buyer of $CNL and $NSU and a nibbler on $ATY

@bslusarchuk @TheGalvanizer is the $sbb good value here without a short term takeout thesis? i own a tiny bit cheaper and its fortuitous (for me) that you just jumped online as this was going to be the other buy (other than $NSU, $ CNL and $ATY) but i don't know enough to do so. i REALLY like how $SBB trading..........seems like something is coming. should it be bought?

@bslusarchuk while i could be early,i'm comfortable buying $nsu, $cnl and $aty tomorrow. Adding to positions and will buy enough size on the first two to make 50% of the new position a short term 3-6 month trading positions. I'm not convinced tomorrow is the low in this gold market and think the next few months will be choppy at best so whatever you buy, you need to be comfortable owning beyond just a trade. And, I also make the recommendation that any new investors reading this DONT take on debt (i.e. margin). Only buy want you can own long term if things don't go well.

@soulMiner @Excelsior Well said. Am long $NSU. I did own Teranga last year but got caught in Autumn bloodbath and sold for a small loss. Am almost fully loaded with others now, but i would be a buyer here and over the next few weeks if funds allowed. I have watched Teranga trade closely over the last 12 months and it always puzzles me. The market seems to punish $TGZ harder than other stocks when there is only a small downward move in the gold price. Not sure why that is as the fundamentals are good.

@MiningBookGuy HEADS-UP: I mentioned the new #MiningInvestment121 London conference before: http://www.weare121.com/121mininginvestment-london/mining-corporate-presenters-2017/ It starts later this week. I am going to tag every public company attending right here (*note - possibly a few errors, but full list in the link): $AFR.AX $CSPG $AQI.AX $ALS $ATC $ATYM.L $ATYM $BAR $BLK.AX $JAY.L $KDNC.L $CMCL.L $CNX $CDV.AX $CAML.L $CHN.AX $CHN $KOR $COP $EMX.AX $EUR.AX $FWZ $FCU $GSC.AX $HMX.AX $HAN $HAV.AX $KAI.AX $MARL $MARL.L $MED $MNB.AX $MOD.AX $MOX $NSU $NG $NHK $ORR.AX $ORN.AX $PEN.AX $PLH.AX $PDI.AX $PREM.L $RD $RSG.AX $SKE $SOLG.L $SVM.AX $STA.AX $TLM.AX $TGZ $TGZ.AX $TETH.L $THX $TLOU.L $TOU.AX $TNG.AX $TML $VAR.AX $VIT $VOL $WKT.AX $WCN.AX KEY SUMMARY: I own a few of these, and following a few more closely. But look at the diversity here! How many of these have you NOT heard of? I haven't heard of at least a dozen of these, even though I 'try' to follow the 3 primary junior mining exchanges in Canada/Australia/UK. I would wager that most people at CEO.CA would be lucky to know just a handful of the non-Canadian listings...and most likely because a company is dual-listed. The thing is, there is a big BIG world of junior mining companies waiting to be discovered out there. This is probably the most impressive list I've seen, so kudos to #MiningInvestment121 for getting such a wide variety of companies, and good amount from the 3 different exchange countries. Good luck researching these! *note - this is exactly what I do...this is a key part of the #TreasureHunt for me! :) #mbgtrends

@mountains_of_glory Natagou after-tax NPV-5 at $1100 gold is under $300mm USD. http://s2.q4cdn.com/795832262/files/doc_downloads/Fact_Sheet/2017/FS-March-2017.pdf All gold companies tend to be relatively expensive. If you want expensive, check out $AEM. But when your stock is relatively expensive it means you can effectively use it as currency to buy up more cheaply valued junior and exploration stories. The producer I like the most right now on a valuation level is $NSU. A pure precious metal story is always going to command a premium. Intriguing as well are $ASR and $CGG.

@Excelsior @Iwantmymoneyback - Yes, I agree that $NSU has done some good work in Eritrea (although their earlier years are plagued by allegations of slave labor used to build their mine by government contractors, at the will of crazy dictator government), and in general Eritrea is an absolute cesspool and isn't #SouthAfrica (which was the focus of that discussion above). I am very familiar with their Serbian assets acquired during the Reservoir Minerals takeover, and those are fantastic assets. Nevsun should knock it out of the park with those old Reservoir assets. ( I sure hope so as a shareholder in $EMX who has royalties on some of them. :-) As for $SBGL and their frontman Neal Froneman, I have all the respect in world for him as a force of nature, and love the way he stood up to the Union BS and Government in South Africa, but even he would tell you the place is a mess right now. Yes, their acquisition of $SWC was to acquire even more of a presence in the #Platinum and #Palladium markets, but it was also to diversify outside of #SouthAfrica. :-) Here are some thoughts I had on Neal's leadership from back in 2015: >On December 6, 2015 at 6:39 pm, Excelsior says: "Here’s an interesting update on $SBGL Sibayne Gold CEO Neal Froneman. I like that he stood up to the unions and government in S. Africa and asked for some common sense and a reality check on reasonable raises before the whole mining industries implodes in S. Africa. "Neal is also going after PGM mining very aggressively in this low price environment, with their after their acquisition of Anglo Platinum’s Rustenburg mines, and their takeover offer for Aquarius Platinum. It will be interesting to see their 2 pronged approach with Gold/Silver and Platinum/Palladium mines in production for 2016. "At least he is a CEO that is getting things done in a tough market, and he’s taking bold action. Apparently people in the industry are starting to notice." _________________________________________________________________________ Neal Froneman elected as Mines and Money CEO of 2015 Westonaria, 4 December 2015 https://www.sibanyegold.co.za/investors/news/company-announcements/2015/item/202-neal-froneman-elected-mines-and-money-ceo-2015 > On August 15, 2015 at 3:20 pm, Excelsior says: 'Here’s a Repost on the subject of Gold and PGM mining in #SouthAfrica. @soulMiner @PamplonaTrader It is not out of the realm of possibility for that to happen. The Chinese are in the process of acquiring the Serbian copper miner and smelter RTB Bor close to Timok. Maybe a deal could be done. The Chinese need the ore.Added to that why would Lundin CEO, Paul Conibear keep mentioning Eastern Europe as an area of keen interest? How many other assets in E. @bslusarchuk Hope all of you are having a nice Mother's Day. I'm heading to a brunch shortly (just back from London on a very good institutionally focused marketing trip for K92) and looking forward to a nice Sunday. A week ago,I noted $CNL,$NSU and $ATY as my top three near term buys from the bottom (outside of $KNT and $KEN of course). RocketRed, who seems to be the best stock picker around right now (his track record on the contest, I see, is superb) noted in a post "CNL closed 2.71 41 cents from the year lows and there is no drill results pending yes they have an up coming program and with gold's direction today no point in being in a rush out there".........................so with that (and with deference to his stock picking ability (I didn't enter the contest and would be WELL behind him as my trading portfolio could prove), I thought I should raise this as a good trio of picks again. In the meantime, please pay attention to $KEN and $KNT for all the reasons I've described here in past posts. Cheers, B
