@RocketRed$Ogi Organigram Holdings Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain lots of medical marijuana which were supplied between August and December, 2016, due to the detection of amounts of an unapproved pesticide not registered for use on marijuana under the Pest Control Products Act
@nlepanCanada's medical marijuana industry boasts the very best industry standards in the world. The first scandal to blow up last week came with a Globe and Mail exposé on Mettrum Health Corp. It revealed that a controversial pesticide that's banned in Canada had been found on an unspecified amount of Mettrum's products. The chemical in question is myclobutanil, which is known to emit hydrogen cyanide when smoked or heated in other ways. This comes on the heels of recent recall involving another banned pesticide, pyrethrin, which was found in some of Mettrum's cannabis. The other scandal involves Organigram Holdings.
@LGisntITYeah, $ACB has that 800k sqft aurora sky by the airport really has me excited. Great placement. Spectacular branding as well. The fact that they're the ones that caught the $OGI use of pesticide shows solid quality control as well.

@LGisntIT@ylr take $OGI off your list. Organigram farms was caught with pesticides. A company that names and prides itself on organic weed messed up its supply chain -a huge no no. Just some basic FA to addnti your TA.
@nicholaslepan$OGI Organigram is having an active day down 1 cent to $2.73 on 1.28 million shares. News today was a mention in the Globe and Mail of Mettrum using a dangerous chemical on its plants as far back as 2014 says, a former employee of Mettrum Health.
@Vaughan$ogi@nicholaslepan, doesnt help that the national did a piece last night onthe recall of organigram pot either. the story actually showed organigram containers, and only orgsnigram. It wasnt a fleeting shot either....
@Vaughan@nicholaslepan not sure, though they did voluntarily recall like a years worth of pot (most gone i would imagine). $ogi was one of the bigger outfits to have to recall pot as the (trace amounts of) pesticides found, when burnt, turn into hydrogen cyanide
