anonymous$PLY Gold values in excess of 1 gpt were encountered in all 9 drillholes. The outcropping Furze Vein and surrounding alteration was encountered in all 9 drillholes and shows good continuity, the highest value was 2.92 gpt Au over 0.85 m in drillhole 3382-001. Other gold values not associated with the Furze Vein occur within the CAZ the highest being 7.32 gpt gold over 0.4m in drillhole 3382-004. Anomalous gold values (in excess of 50ppb) are reported in 91 or 26.3% of the 346 samples assayed to date, only 54 samples or 15.6% report no gold. In general the gold shows an association with increased amounts of silica, sulphides and tellurium. http://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item.aspx?bid=Z-C:PLY-2428485&symbol=PLY®ion=C
@NewtonHello @muskie! How are you? Sorry that didn't see your posts here over last few weeks (no @ symbol means easy for them to get lost -- thanks @miningBookGuy). It's been a month since I first heard about the company. Had a look at results recently and would be keen to dig in deeper. May contact them and offer quick call here. Pretty sure results were good. Just don't expect every round of drilling to give higher grades, that's generally unreasonable.
@NewtonMy impression is that the $ply results represent progress in proving the geological understanding of the project. Thick zone of mineralization is good to see, although I wonder how they estimated thickness at 100-150M when deepest hole was 120M? And hitting gold on all holes is good, too. tl;dr "LARGE GOLD-BEARING SYSTEM DISCOVERED AT CLOONACOOL; DRILLING STARTED AT CABRAGH"

@AvicennaThere is definitely a chance for leaks... dont believe me? god see $Ply just 2 weeks ago few days before their drill results came up. Who knows where the leak was but for sure there was a leak...
@MiningCatalyst@Newton I have to disagree :Pretty sure results were good. Result weren't good. Its just an indication that there might be something there. Warrants for further drilling at best.

@NewtonThanks @MiningCatalyst. Would be happy to get into it a little further with you here. My sense is that these are first holes in new structure that is highly prospective based on rocks found at surface. First question was simply whether there was something underground there that might host gold. Looks like they found that. Next questions get into where exactly gold may be in underground structure. Not a geologist, but this is one that makes me want to do a #deepdive on #geology to understand what they think is happening there and what success/failure looks like at each stage...

@NewtonFwiw I think that "good drilling results" doesn't always mean "found good grade mineralization". We have to find the ore to make project work, but my impression is that good geology is not always straightforward. Expecting that going in can help understand whether drilling is making progress or not, and what kind of progress is being made.
SEDI_botPlayfair Mining Ltd. $PLY just filed 1 reports. View full report: SEDI:PLY
@Ellbee$PLY Looks intriguing. They have barely scratched the surface and found a 3mile long gold structure. Just tested one place and got gold in every hole. Even more interesting is that there has been no previous drilling in the whole area. Much more drilling needed.
