@MartinTurenne$aqm interested to generate some discussion on the $tck buyout. Zafranal project needs copper well over $3 to be feasible. very healthy 50% premium to VWAP sets the takeout price at a level $aqm hasn't traded at in over 4.5 years. M&A like this, even if it's an easy rollup, augurs well for #copper juniors and base metals juniors generally.
@marketwiredTeck Updates Coal Guidance @marketwired/teck-updates-coal-guidance$TCK-A$TCK-B$TCK Teck expects its average blended realized price for all of its steelmaking coal products in the fourth quarter of 2016 to be in the range of USD$200 to USD$205 per tonne. Teck had previously guided towards an average blended realized price for its highest quality coals and other coal grades below the USD$200 per tonne benchmark price.
@dirkdigglerI don't believe in options as long term plays @Newton. If they're otm and 6 to 12 months out, by the time they go itm, there's a good chance your time value will have eroded sufficiently, and you'll still end up losing money. There needs to be a short term catalyst imo. Of course there are exceptions: $TCK would have been a brilliant long term Call play. #options
@Underdog$teck$TECK.B$tck$TCK.B whatever Mr Lindsay was paid is worth it. He did his job, keeping thus company afloat without huge dilution or asset offloading during the worst resource downturn in decades. That's more than what can be said about 99% of the CEO's out there. Don't mind paying for quality.
@CriticalInvestor@DanO missed your comment on $TCK/$MIN earlier, good one, although I do think Excelsior has a far shorter timeline for their permits compared to eventual boundary well testing results coming out at Florence. Both deposits aren't exactly the same geologically, don't know the details on this but the degree of fracturing and acid consumption of surrounding rocks is different if I'm correct.
@marketwiredIndependent Proxy Advisory Firm Recommends That Shareholders of AQM Copper Inc. Vote for the Arrangement @marketwired/independent-proxy-advisory-firm-recommends-that-shareholders-75e97$AQM$AQM Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. has provided a recommendation to institutional investors who hold shares of AQM Copper to approve the proposed transaction with Teck Resoruces $TCK, whereby Teck will acquire all outstanding shares that they do not already own. The press release fails to articulate why this proxy advisory firm is independent, since the press release was issued by Pinnacle Capital Markets of which AQM Copper is a client.
@VaughanI know you are right @racker. And that is the plan in general. My mistakes in trading this year were based on me selling before my targets were attained (because my target prices seemed somewhat outrageous). I had little faith in my own ability to pick accurate target prices, so always sold early. Made good profits, but missed great ones. $tck$az$cgc$fcx to name but a few, all sold way to early, negating my "great" timing. I never went broke taking profits, but didnt get rich either.
@EpsteinResearch$NXE, #uranium Not to add to the mental masterbat*&^ on takeout math, how soon, etc., but the "usual suspects" (Cameco, Rio, Areva) or some combination there of. And there's $TCK, and maybe a large oil sands producer like Suncor $SU, (who has invested in at least 6 wind power projects). Who else, if any, are high on the list? Thanks chatters!
@MiningBookGuy@drilltracker - for better or worse, every time i think of you, i now think of $TCK$TCK-B . and kicking myself for 'wasting' all my time on junior explorers when i could have sat on some tasty $TCK$TCK-B shares. btw, how was the bouillabaisse??
@LeonRecent drill results from $AZX 21.32 g/t gold over 3.95 meters at Orenada Zone 4, including 42.50 g/t over 1.50 meters.
