@Leni Recently, I had a great conversation with Energy Fuels VP of Corporate Development Curtis Moore. We spoke about where the uranium price is headed in 2017, Sheep Mountain and Nichols Ranch permitting and Energy Fuels insider buying/selling. I think there is value in this interview for Energy Fuels shareholders and those that are thinking of buying. #EFR #UUUU #uranium http://www.juniorstockreview.com/2017/04/24/curtis-moore-energy-fuels/

@Lukester599 I remain a steadfast $EFR / $UUUU fan. Plenty of upside on this one in a U recovery. Has enough size and resources to weather the next 3 years with manageable risk (if there is such a thing in the U juniors, they have it).

@Onekey So how are are you #uranium people doing? Personally I am down 18 percent as of today. I mostly own $URA, $GXU, $UUUU, $ARY and $AZZ. I am hopefull though. From what I am hearing there is not much buying going on now. So that means there will be all the more buying later on (I assume). Anybody else care to share their missery?

@Excelsior @Vaughan - Yes that was $URG $URE UR-Energy but their longer term contracts are between the high $40's - high $50's. I believe the balance of 2017 for them is around $49 but they had some contracts at $53 and $56 in years past (so yeah, they weren't selling at spot... but sometimes they bought #uranium for spot in the open markets and sold a percentage into their higher contract prices and kept the difference). $UUUU $EFR Energy Fuels have had contract prices in the $52-$58 range the last few years. Also, $PEN.AX Peninsula (a newer producer few discuss on here) is forward selling their Uranium for 5 year off-takes at around $55 if memory serves. $CCO $CCJ has many more staggered contracts but they typically average in the low to mid $40's. Cameco does sell a certain percentage of their production at spot prices though, so they have more of a blended output. That TEPCO off-take contract Cameco had {near $100 lb} was higher than most and left over from the previous cycle. You can see why TEPCO would want out of it. There were periods where Uranium was pushing $120-$140 (that seems so odd now that we are down around $23 in spot, but that shows the disconnect in the current spot pricing).

@Lukester599 @Pon - Seems $U.TO also took a steep dive and then strong bounce just bef the close yesterday. Impulsive buying in U stocks surely is the hallmark of investor folly. BTW I agree w. your take on the "new bull market", that it was a market-froth driven mirage this winter and we can easily see deep slump persist to 2020. @Excelsior $UUUU $EFR Energy Fuels Announces Q1-2017 Results May 5, 2017 * Financial Highlights: > At March 31, 2017, the Company had $23.8 million of working capital, including cash and cash equivalents of $12.2 million and approximately 550,000 pounds of #uranium concentrate inventory. > 60,000 pounds of #U3O8 sales were completed by the Company at an average realized price of $58.28 per pound, pursuant to a long-term contract. > Uranium #production totaled 92,000 pounds of U3O8 during the quarter. > Q1 had lower sales volume due to the timing of contract sales. On April 1, 2017, the Company delivered 200,000 lbs. into long-term sales contracts and over $13 million was collected. > $3.8 million of total revenue was realized by the Company. The Company began fulfilling a toll processing contract which is expected to result in $6.50 million of revenue for 2017, of which $0.26 million was realized by the Company during Q1-2017. Stephen P. Antony, Energy Fuels’ President and CEO stated: “Energy Fuels continues to enjoy meaningful insulation from price weakness in the uranium spot market. Our contract sales and other sources of revenue enable the Company to maintain a strong working capital position and overall balance sheet. In addition, Energy Fuels is likely to become the largest #uranium #producer in the U.S. in 2017, based on published company guidance. We are proud to take the position as the largest uranium producer in the U.S., especially during a time when our industry demands high degrees of efficiency.” http://www.energyfuels.com/news-pr/energy-fuels-announces-q1-2017-results/ (Note: $UUUU is selling Uranium at $58.28 per lb and NOT at spot prices, as some commentators keep erroneously parroting in the marketplace)

@Lukester599 @Agjackso - my understanding of U stock investing is that it's nuts to use any stops with these bungee equities. When you go in, ask yourself whether you are willing to serenely hold while your investment goes to 5 cents on the dollar. If one can't stomach that puke test one should not own them period as it is overwhelmingly likely one gets bounced out of positions due to their spine jolting volatility. Amd every rise is a cash raising opportunity.

@Lukester599 Re: $EFR / $UUUU grades at Canyon mine - it's a smaller mine, but as it stands, Cantor has calculated their cash costs (due to Canyon, or other projects, I am not sure) actually beat ISR miners $UEC and $URG by quite a bit. $URG cash cost was approx. $21 and $UEC cash cost was $24, (from a 1st QTR 2017 report) while $EFR was calculated at below $17.00 (!!) due to the copper off-take and White Mesa mill alternate feed credits. Quite impressive.

@drezinho @Lukester599 Canyon would presumably be highly profitable if $EFR can develop a low-cost #copper product. "The Company is also making progress toward determining whether copper can be economically recovered at the Company’s White Mesa Mill. Through bench-scale testing, the Company has been able to place a significant percentage of the copper into solution. The Company is now determining whether the copper can be removed from solution and converted into a marketable copper product. If positive testing results continue, the Company also expects to include a copper resource estimate in the new NI 43-101 technical report in the 3rd Quarter of 2017."

@Excelsior @EvenPrime - Thanks for calling me out amongst all the names in the contest amigo. I guess I am the caboose bringing up the rear. #embarrassing 1) As for $TGZ Teranga gold, it got snared up in the $GDXJ sell down (that was not foreseen on Dec 30th, 2016), but I still see it as one of the better and safer growth stories in the Mid-Tier #producers. With their reverse split behind them and an interesting development project in the works with the asset they acquired off Gryphon Minerals, I'm very constructive on their future. 2) $IPT Impact Silver is a smaller #Silver producer that is highly leveraged to the upside and downside (it's got some torque... that's for sure). With most of the Silver miners selling off, it has out-performed...to the downside. Maybe that isn't safe, but I still feel it could double by year end). I'm not concerned at all about it and it remains one of my favorite Silver stocks (and I hold 13 at present). Keep in mind the real fireworks aren't until later in the year Aug-Oct seasonally, so it is a bit premature to take swipes in the summer weakness until we get into the bullish part of the 2nd half of the year. 3) As for $UUUU Energy Fuels, it is the 2nd largest US producer with 3 active production sites and one of the largest 43-101 resource reserves in the US, so I still see it as a "safe" #Uranium stock (if there is such a thing -- lol). With Uranium prices back down sub-$20 it isn't doing their share price any favors, but this too shall pass. As far as Uranium stocks Energy Fuels will be one that weathers the storm, so again I'm not worried about it, but I was more bullish on the recovery in Uranium than I should have been. * People that picked #Zinc miners or smaller #PreciousMetals #Explorers have fared much better as an observation, but the year isn't over yet either ya rascal. :-) #SafestStockPickingContest

@Excelsior @FundamentalAnalysis and @barracuda - The sad truth is that nobody knows exactly what will happen with the Uranium pricing. David Cates is one of the most connected and active members of the #Uranium community; not just with $DNN $DML but as a consultant to $U and involved stakeholder with $GXU and $SYH. I wouldn't extrapolate out your experience with that $FCU rep and apply it to all Uranium executives. I've heard David mention secondary supplies and underfeeding for the last few years in interviews, so he is quite aware of the situation. > David Cates: Welcome to The Uranium Supercycle BY COLLIN KETTELL ON FEBRUARY 22, 2017 http://palisaderadio.com/david-cates-welcome-to-the-uranium-supercycle/ The guys at $DNN Denison have been entrenched in the Uranium space for decades, were past #producers, sold $UUUU $EFR Energy Fuels their active White Mesa Mill, are involved with toll milling $CCJ $CCO Cameco's ore with $ARVCF Areva in a JV at the Athabasca mill, and have an environmental mitigation division. They understand the business from front-end #exploration and #development to back end clean up, and are quite aware of the competitive landscape. If you simply look at the Denison website they have multiple pages of macro info on the #Uranium sector and they address both primary and secondary supply sources. That doesn't mean anyone knows where the Uranium price will be in 6-12 months. http://www.denisonmines.com/s/Primary_Uranium_Supply.asp http://www.denisonmines.com/s/Secondary_Uranium_Supply.asp http://www.denisonmines.com/s/Uranium_Prices.asp http://www.denisonmines.com/s/Competition.asp Many of the company management teams do err on being overly bullish on the demand side improving and longer term off-take agreements starting up sooner than it has played out. Mining companies are mostly eternal optimists. The truth is that while "the cure for low prices is low prices" there is not a time qualifier on that statement, and it make take many more years than some are expecting to play out. #Index #mbgtrends
