Sarama Resources Targets Extensions to Mineral Resources at the South Hounde Project in Burkina Faso http://saramaresources.com/getattachment/6744ec68-fe9f-4050-9546-50353eb6ad66/Sarama-Resources-Targets-Extensions-To-Mineral-Res.aspx$SWA$ACA.L#drillplays#BurkinaFaso#SouthHoundeBelt 7,400 meter drill program has commenced
-This NR link directly from the company website should help interpret the drill plan. It's easier to just scroll down and zoom in.
-I like this mix of drilling. The 'depth extension' Diamond Drilling and 'linking structures' AC drilling are similar to much of the last campaign. This is very clearly focused on going for an 'Acacia-sized' deposit, looking for deep, high-grade extensions, and getting a better handle of the structure since it's very complex. But this type of drilling may require a lot of follow-up to increase the resource.
But the 'corridor extension' at the Djimbake Prospect could immediately increase the resource. Even better, it could increase it for a 'Sarama-sized' deposit that is smaller scale, maybe heap-leachable. In 2015, Sarama had success 'discovering' mineralization across the entire Kenobi Prospect on the map (just a bit north of Djimbake). This is very similar. Even low-grade, near-surface mineralization could be valuable throughout Djimbake. I look forward to seeing these results, and it's great to know that $SWA has a very solid 'back-up plan' if an 'Acacia-Sized' deposit doesn't work out with $ACA.L.
-While the NR does not make this crystal clear, I believe all of this drilling is BEFORE $ACA.L enters the next phase of the earn-in. This means that this drilling is kind of a 'bonus' (IMO), as the last part of the initial $7M USD spend for Acacia to earn 50% of the project (I initially thought this was all spent). I should clarify this with management soon. But it would be nice if this was true, meaning a full $3.5M USD spend is available starting in January 2017 for the entire 2017 year on the South Hounde Project.
-This IS in the #SouthHoundeBelt. But it has NOTHING to do with $SCA (Savary Gold). $ACA.L (Acacia Mining) is earning into the South Hounde Project owned by $SWA (Sarama), which already has a 2.1M oz inferred resoruce. I am sure at least a few people misinterpret this, because it is confusing with the similarity in names and proximity. But it's one of a few key reasons I like $SWA (Sarama) far more than $SCA (Savary) at today's respective market-caps/price-levels. It's exciting that $SWA has exposure to 2 separate drill programs right now.

@NewtonAlright, that is the final set of drill holes out from $AAN with announcement today. Hello #drillplays. This story has legs as "Drill holes were designed with the forthcoming mineral resource estimation in mind" and current financing will give them money to do it!

@MiningBookGuy$THX update - someone (anon) picked up 600k shares so far today, after ZERO volume yesterday. Most of these were at 0.10 CAD, AFTER a raise was completed at 0.145 CAD with NO warrants.
I was befuddled by this...but if I didn't already have a good sized stake in $THX, I would have bought some of those shares in a heartbeat on Monday (well, I did I buy a few at 0.08 CAD a few weeks ago). Was even going to write more about this tonight...no need now.
In any case, will look back at this in a few months, and might have been a true steal, not just as a short-term arbitrage, but also longer-term with some really compelling catalysts on the way. #drillplays#thor-case-study#mbgtrends
@dirkdiggler$WRI has been drilling their Battle Mountain Ridge Project on the prolific Battle Mountain Trend in Nevada for the past month. This is one of the those unknown co's with a super tight cap structure that will respond very well, if they hit. I've been following this one for a while (I've made a few comments over on the $WRI channels in the past). Not trying to front-run this one (don't believe in that sleaze-ball strategy) - I have NO position......yet. But might put a position on in the coming days. Just a heads-up.

@NewtonGood question @Aaronhttps://ceo.ca/@aaron?7ebb9447c201$cxo and $nrn. Maybe someone in #drillplays can help you dig in deeper. They have good list of companies with drilling results this season. Think that is @highheat behind that but don't recall. Haven't seen anyone cross reference drilling results and price performance though -- that's a #bigdeal. Good question to ask! I haven't even seen brokers with good analysis of that relationship. May be hard to pinpoint expectations around drill programs.
@Excelsior$ASM Avino Silver & Gold Mines Announces Results From Its Current Exploration #DrillProgram Between The San Luis Workings And Elena Tolosa Workings At The Avino Mine
"We are encouraged by these initial and positive drill results in the gap area between the San Luis workings and Elena Tolosa, and that the results support the continuation of the extensive Avino Vein system. This new #gold rich area contains at least two sections with continuous significant gold assays."

@lukejacksonDoes... this mean teevee doesn't win? Winner is @tommy? #rigged!!! Merry Xmas and happy new year CEO.CA. 2016 was the year of the reflation. Here's to 2017 having some drilling success! #drillplays
@Excelsior@PamplonaTrader - agreed. I love the big scores as well, and had a 14,000% gain in $MXSG Mexus gold this year, and many 4-10 baggers, but I cherish reliable 100-300% gains, to make up for the times where I strike out bad as well.
That's what I meant when posting "Hopefully those that lost big by going too heavy into speculative #drillplays will remember to sprinkle in a little stability into their mix as well."
Great points though! #ToEachTheirOwn
@MiningBookGuyMundoro Announces Drill Results From Chuka Copper and Gold Porphyry in Bulgaria @marketwired/mundoro-announces-drill-results-from-chuka-copper-and$MUN#copper#gold#discovery#drillplays#Bulgaria#Tethyan#TethyanBelt
3 holes for total of 1000m. 1 hit with 146.5 m @ 0.40% Cu and 0.12 g/t Au (0.48% CuEq); from 66.8 m to 213.3 m;
[Teo Dechev, CEO and President of Mundoro commented, "The Chuka porphyry system is a new discovery by the Mundoro team in this proven mineral belt. This initial 1000 meter drill program tested the stockwork porphyry mapped at surface and has identified two porphyry phases demonstrating a multiphase system. We are encouraged by the broad interval of mineralization intersected in drill hole CDD001 which intersected 146.5 m of 0.48% Cu equivalent down to 213 m which is well within typical depths for open pit operations. Further drilling will be necessary to determine the extent of the stockwork mineralisation which is open in several directions."]
I don't have the time (or ability) to analyze in detail right now. But this looks like a promising start for $MUN on one of their two projects in #Bulgaria. And very few following it right now.
