@anomalloyfyi, $SAN. Big announcement today that should significantly increase revenues, and has bumped sp up 60% on 50x avg volume. Solar Alliance is a Vancouver based sales, marketing and development company focused on residential, commercial and industrial solar installations, primarily in Calif. Since founded in 2003, they have developed wind and solar projects that provide enough electricity to power 150,000 homes. In December, they reached profitability. Today they announced signing a letter of intent to acquire a San Diego solar installer with 34 million in sales last year. (And MacD, RSI, momentum et al lined up perfectly! dyodd, but its a strong buy, imho) #hotpick#ninjapick#ethicalinvesting
@anomalloy fyi Canaccord Genuity Precious Metals Analyst Tony Lesiak notes that management compensation is on the rise in the precious metals sector. ‘Tis the filing season for management information circulars, bringing management compensation into focus for investors. Of the larger companies which have reported thus far, Agnico Eagle and Barrick stand out with an average pay increase of 26% over 2015 for the top five named officers. Total compensation for Barrick leapt back to $26M for the top five in 2016... when viewed as a percentage of FCF, Barrick and Agnico Eagle’s top-five total remuneration was on average more than five times their larger Canadian non-mining peers. IMG’s total comp more than doubled, but it was from a low base, and operations and the share price (top gold equity performer in 2016) saw a marked turnaround. #ethicalinvesting
@anomalloyChart looks great @1969Enigma, and these guys know how to do the pr right, greatly assisted by having William Shatner paid in options to promote it. Also, even if the LOI doesn't go through (which I doubt) $SAN still has expanded their sales force, have more money to work with, are recently reporting profits, and you're actually investing in a company that is good for the environment. Win/win all the way around, imho. #ethicalinvesting#hotpick
@anomalloy"Berkshire Hathaway Energy Chairman and CEO Greg Abel took home nearly $50 million in compensation for two years of work in 2015 and 2016. … with Abel's compensation, NetJets should be able to pay the skilled mechanic that fixes his private jet an industry-standard wage and the worker that cleans it no less than $15.00 an hour—the minimum wage in some cities". $BRKB@newswire Teamsters Local 284: NetJets Labor Problems Spread To Berkshire Hathaway Meeting, Kentucky Derby @newswire/teamsters-local-284-netjets-labor-problems-spread#ethicalinvesting
@anomalloyLost in the headlines, value priced and running back up, imho. $SAN sales to increase more than 150% this quarter over last. “Of the 156 residential solar projects that were acquired by Solar Alliance, approximately 1/3 of the pipeline, or 59 projects, have either been installed or have been approved for installation. The remainder ... will be approved for installation in the next 30 days. The company estimates the pipeline of acquired projects will generate approximately $2,331,341 (U.S.) in gross revenue and up to $1,296,991 (U.S.) in gross profit, IN ADDITION to regular sales operations revenue”.
The sales and gross margin in the last quarter were $1,619,454 and $633,761 respectively, compared with $1,244,538 and $434,524 in Q1 2016. Plus CEO Jason Bak says "The integration of the new Los Angeles sales and operations teams has proven our team's ability to identify, acquire and integrate solar assets. …, we are focusing increased corporate resources on the identification and acquisition of several additional solar assets."

@anomalloyWhat exactly is $FCC promising? ie 'We're going to try and be good, as opposed to 'we will not use child labour in any stage of our production process'. Is this called greenwashing? #ethicalinvesting
