@ekimInteresting news release by $KDI. Will the second 1000 carats pull up or pull down the valuation for Kelvin? $KDI just announced news that they know that answer...but we are not telling you because it is only 'draft'. Using the 'draft' keyword to get around disclosure. I think more companies should use it. We have rec'd all drill results in draft format and are reviewing them. They may or may not contain gold...we know that answer..but we will only share it with you once we have reviewed them. #diamonds
@ekim@Mr.Magoo I think it is more of a..."We regularly release news more then other companies....therefore you can invest in us". type motion. When Rory took over...the news flow slowed a bit...which I actually liked. Before that...there seemed to be a news release every couple of weeks. Wonder if Rory got pressure to update the market...even with the smallest amount of news. $KDI
@ekim$KDI earnings out. Still aiming for a PEA to be out by years end. Post-PEA, they will have roughly CAD$8 to $10 million in the treasury to plan 2017. They have spent in order of CAD$25 million in each of the last 2 years (2016 and 2015) to get to this PEA level. Valuation report out tomorrow? or next week maybe. #Diamonds
@ekim"Valuation results from WWW will be released upon completion of the company review and finalization of the report, which is expected by the end of next week. "
Bring it on. End of next week is today. Let's see the valuation report. #diamonds$KDI

@ekimNo results today. They have been basically been missing deadlines since they did the big financing in 3rd quarter 2015. With money in the bank and no urgent need to finance again....I guess priorities change swiftly. #diamonds$KDI

@ekimNo results today for valuations. I don't know what they will be on a conscious level...but sub-consciously, the valuations are telling me they will come in a model of $30, $50 and $60 per carat. We will see how close my sub-conscious is right or wrong. #diamonds#KDI
@ekim$KDI valuations not so good this am. Did some rough calculations on what that means for rock value per tonne:
A = CAD$150 to CAD$160 per tonne
B = CAD$190 to CAD$200 per tonne
Bx = CAD$60 to CAD$65 per tonne
C = CAD$135 to CAD$140 per tonne
Gahcho Kue operating cost sits at CAD$75 per tonne..you would need to add in transportation and extra costs if Kelvin kimberlite were to be fed to Gahcho in the future. Plunk in rock value...plunk in 10 million tonnes (estimate for Kelvin)....plunk in milling years in early to mid 2020's. Plunk in some capital costs. Then discount to today. Market cap of $KDI is sitting at CAD$160 million right now. #diamonds
@JamesKwantesAgree on $KDI@ekim, $NAR came out with a Qilalugaq valuation not much different last summer and it "killed" the project (and stock). Now North Arrow taking another run at Q with some drilling and potentially a larger bulk sample. Kennady has looked pretty richly valued for a long time (esp compared to NAR at these levels)
@rackerKennedy Diamonds $KDI price target lowered to $4 from $4.50 at Canaccord, reflecting the new Kelvin diamond valuation, and a change in their model from a conceptual standalone mine to a satellite of the next door Gacho Kue diamond mine. #diamonds
@ekim$KDI is on a tear up again. I am seriously looking forward to all the details in the PEA to be released right around XMAS time.

@ekim$KDI Kelvin/Faraday complex now worth 1/5th of Gahcho Kue ($MPV portion) and a 1/4th of Renard $SWY and a 1/5th of ekati/diavik ($DDC portion) based on market perception. Should one follow market perception to make $$'s or fundamentals to make $$'s. That is really the hard part of investing. A lot has been made and lost in both regardless of the other. #diamonds
@ekimMath time for $KDI Gahcho Kue costs are $75 per tonne and the deposit daylights or gets close to surface. Kelvin is further away, under a small body of water and doesn't actually have access to the gahcho mill. So, lets say CAD$100 per tonne operating cost only. At 1.6 cpt that equates to a CAD$62.5 per carat operating cost. They have 13.62 million carats at a value of US$60 per carat. Conversion to Canadian at 1.3143 x = a value of CAD$78.8 per carat. Between CAD$78.8 per carat and CAD$62.5 per carat that is not a huge margin for contingency and problems. That also has to pay for capital (excluding a mill). Profit Margin = CAD$16.3 per carat. Tax rate of 30%. After tax margin = CAD$11.4 per carat. At 13.62 million carats..gives you potential positive cash flow (after tax) of CAD$155 million (undiscounted). Discount that 10 years at 7% (for easy calculation) and you get half that or CAD$77 million. After some capital and you are not looking very good at all. Pretty good for a company worth about CAD$200 million on the market today. #diamonds

@HRA-CoffinNow @ekim don't be getting all catty just because $KDI has 3-4 times the market cap of your beloved Peregrine
@ekim$KDI releases more stunning grades from Faraday 1 and Faraday 2 -- http://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item.aspx?bid=Z-C%3aKDI-2438327&symbol=KDI®ion=C
Unfortunately the macro diamonds are pretty horrific and it doesn't take an expert to figure that out.

@ekimAt roundup last week. Rory presented. Stated they had $cad 8.5 million cash and the plan is to include two of the Faraday's in a bulk sample to include alongside Kelvin and finally release a pea in 2nd half of 2017.
@ekimStock drifting on this stock. There was talk about a drill programme West of Gahcho Kue...but based on the last earnings..after a bit of financial clean up...there isn't a whole lot of money left to actually drill. Anyone see this being different? Maybe they should partner with $KDI to plunk a couple of holes into the property.
@ekim@Zeus I have been scratching my head on $KDI 's news release on Friday..let alone $PGD 's options. Fundamentals are sound at Chidliak and the a 10% dilution would generate a lot more money at a market cap of $150 million versus the $70 to $75 million they sit at now. The plus side is that they have been down in the $30 to $35 million market cap not that long ago. I suspect a 10% dilution inclusive of some premium flow through maybe in order as $PGD goes it alone for another 10 months up until the updated PEA shows the project even more robust then ever.
@ekimWhat are the odds that $DDC threw a dart at $KDI to try and swat this whole aggressive takeover tactic? I would say very low...but the coincidence of an after hours news release on Friday night by $KDI followed by these news releases on a Sunday? Just one thought. #diamonds
