@newstracker @racker pretty low bar for public service in my opinion.

@Allan sociopath, a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience. Now everybody has a variety of personality characteristics but it is when they get pathological and a lack of empathy that one has a real danger. Pretty clear to me that Trump fits into this category perfectly. If you need a hint, look at the way he stalked her around the room, but the real tell was in the eyes of the people in the seats. When she would get close they were watching her speak and then skulking Trump would walk over and their eyes would move to look at him with concern in their eyes.

@Allan tommy and eric, I'm trying to get the King of Floors to come with me tomorrow. I have to do a show in the morning and then will be in around 11. Just in time for Tommy and then Eric. He will like this format much better with the curated and selected companies and the comfy seats to watch the presentations.

Stateside I'm intrigued by the posters here who are paid by junior companies to help draw investors to the company who insist on espousing their extreme political views (either from the left or right) which of course eliminates 50 percent of potential investors from ever considering an investment. Marketing 101 says to draw in as many potential investors as possible. But by espousing strong left or right views those that share the opposite view will never engage. I can only assume these junior companies understand they are hiring political commentators and only want new investors from the same political side as their hired marketers. I was always told to avoid religion and politics in business but I guess I'm a dinosaur. I have to assume junior exploration companies don't want exposure to all investors.....otherwise they wouldn't hire promoters constantly espousing strong political views on social media.

@HRA-Coffin I looked at the results as they come in though I don't follow $PLG in the newsletter. Interesting project that I actually looked at for a friend as a potential acquisition a few years back. I know Cal Everett was excited by the deep high grade potential but they haven't been able to prove any real scale to that yet. I think its got a shot as an open pit target though it may be a tricky one. They seem to be making progress joining up the dots but we'll have to see what the overall average grade is if they are treating it as one big pit. That was the difficulty when I looked at it based on the information in hand three years ago. I didn't seem contiguous but that was partially due to how it was drilled. The question was were new owners willing to do a huge program to try and connect the dots? Couldn't justify that in the bear market (and the deal back then wasn't that good) but $PLG can afford that approach so it might work.

@Allan stateside who are you referring to and do you really think people won't look at a stock because of the politics of those talking about it?

@Allan maybe all those people on CNBC that talk about their companies and their politics didn't get the memo.

@MiningBookGuy @Vaughan - ceo.ca should be a good place to hang out tomorrow. see here from @tommy: https://ceo.ca/index?14fe91b929c9 @tommy/heres-the-agenda-for-next-weeks-subscriber-summit #SubscriberSummit

@HRA-Coffin I think Tommy has someone or someones live texting the summit and only a fraction of the people on ceo.ca are from Vancouver so there should still be plenty of people here I think. I'll check in if you get lonely @Vaughan

@Treb I used to subscribe to BMR for a short time. One of the reasons I stopped reading their material was the abundance of nauseating right wing rhetoric. I get what @stateside is saying, and I agree.

@Newton Yes, I hope it is not a ghost town tomorrow. I may not live tweet most talks as I will try to visit with companies during that time. Will try to record some audio interviews with execs and post on the day. Also will try to do some interviews with willing attendees. #subscribersummit will be great!

@Stealinator @Stateside will have to concur. I have only 7 trucks that are out and about for my business on a daily basis. I have 0 bumper stickers and for that exact reason. Run a commercial grounds business with a wide variety of homeowners with differing political and religious views. A couple elections back, I was all pro my certain beliefs and had no problems displaying, be it political affiliation, 2nd amendment etc. On looking to the future and framing where I want to take my company, I resolved to take a neutral stance when in public.

@EvenPrime It will be my first mining/stock conference #subscibersummit and I'll be a bit nervous as I know I'll be in way over my head. But I've been following this stuff for almost 2 years now, so its about time I venture in. I'll be wearing an EvenPrime nametag so if you see me, feel free to introduce yourself. Excited to meet everyone tomorrow. Its about time I start building some relations :)

@Stealinator at a loss as to why so many turn out for a trump rally when all media is saying today that it was all over and Hillary has won. I mean media says clinton has PA by 93% yet....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Cb9C1N8oE+ must be the donald putting a 100mm in on his campaign while Hillary puts nada. I never buy a company with management not having skin in the game. (USA was incorporated in what was it.....1871?) any history buffs out there?

@CriticalInvestor As I'm from Europe, I'm a bit limited in attending overseas conferences and have to skip this one unfortunately after being present at the March version, but I did register for MIF in November, looks fine too!

@drilltracker @moonshot5 ...Not a great example..A share in Starbuck's $SBUX after the GFC in 2009 would have cost $4.73 and is currently $54.11. A $44 $abx is now worth $20.91 (:
