CEO.CA members discuss high-risk penny stocks which can lose their entire value. Only risk what you can afford to lose.
@LeonYesterday I learned that ceo.ca wants to be seen as a platform without discussing #politics. So how can we talk about markets and stock prices, #commodities, mining companies and their projects, about economics and finances, a bond market and treasuries, refinancing options and global currency measures, inflation and #gold in not talking about #Trump's agenda and the difficulties involved to deliver his promises? ..well, maybe that's just the blinded perspective of an economist and hobby trader ;-) #bondCrashwww.businessinsider.de/trump-4-gdp-growth-promise-2017-1?r=US&IR=T
@LeonPolitical significance aside, this is likely the most constitutional law decision of at least a generation: The UK government CANNOT TRIGGER Article 50 WITHOUT the Parliament authorised that course. THERE HAS TO BE AN ACT OF PARLIAMENT .. later discussed today in the House of Parliament because "Article 50" is not a legal matter but a political decision! www.supremecourt.uk/cases/docs/uksc-2016-0196-press-summary.pdf#Brexit#politics
@Leon@nicholaslepan - from a German perspective and not happy with all the migrants coming to Europe, I would like to see the U.S. stopping all the bombings on at least five countries that are now banned from entering the U.S., but only for Muslim believers. It really scares me that we are again selecting people for their profession of faith and that the supporters are obviously not aware of their racist and ideological prejudices. Why is there no ban on Muslims coming from Saudia Arabia, the UAE and all the other counties supporting Wahabism and the various terror groups in the Middle East? #Trump is playing with the fire, adding even more fuel to it in a world becoming more polarized with the day.. #politics
@LeonRumours in European media about President #Assads health condition are going from a stroke to a brain-tumor and being assassinated by his Iranian bodyguard. A sudden death would surely complicate any political resolution in #Syria, as it would immediate promp both sides in a proxy war to present their handpicked candidates ahead of an election. #politics#gold Today, Foreign Minister Lavrov has offered Russia's support to Iraq in its fight against Daesh / IS, which might not come out of the blue if one reflects Saturday's telefon conversation between Putin and #Trump's proposal of "safe zones" and his "30-day-agenda" to fight #IS.
@thenewjewKeep in mind that under the French electoral system all that matters is making it to the one on one run-off. If Fillon is the 'Not Front National' candidate, with the stench of scandal and a more conservative, religious bent, then the usual French anti-FN coalition may fall apart a la Hillary (voter apathy + motivated, fed up base = Le Pen WIN)
@Leon@Goldfinger - military action against Iran would be the most stupid decision #Trump could make - the Chinese are already in Syria testing Russian fighter jets and other equipment in action. As everybody knows, they have a mutual assistance pact with Russia and Iran and "article 5" would drag the Chinese depper and faster into the Middle East conflict as one might love - but perhaps that's the reason behind the jibes of Tillerson and Breitbard for going to war with #China in the foreseeable future. #politics
@Leonwow, very interesting talk here at the Late Night Show :-) .. I wonder, why miners and investors are not doing the same DD in politics or on religous issues as in their fields of business? Reg. the "Muslim ban" - isn't the US in a war with the "Muslim country" Afghanistan ? So why didn't they ban the citizens from Afghanistan, or "9/11 Saudi Arabia" ? .. from Pakistan, Egypt, Tunesia, Morocco or all the other countries that breed terrorists instead of people in flesh and blood that suffer tremendously under the U.S. bombardments for freedom, peace and democracy in the Middle East? Why is Iran now under scrutiny? Because it tested conventional weapons, as it did years ago under Obama as well as today, or is it because the Wolfowitz doctrin has to be completed as General Wesley Clark has already mentioned numerous times? #politicswww.youtube.com/watch?v=nUCwCgthp_E+
@Leon"In a decision that will hardly come as a surprise, the 9th Circuit of Appeals has unanimously (including one GOP appointee) ruled for the U.S. to remain open to refugees and visa holders from seven Muslim-majority countries while the #Trump administration fights to reinstate a travel ban in the name of national security." ~ZH ..which shows, they have obviously no idea about the law and constitution of the country they represent and still willing to make themself a laughing stock. Trump's "management by impulse" makes a sound tax-reform rather doubtful and the markets soon to collapse imo. #politics#economics
@LeonHere is what one of the most outspoken fiscal responsibility champions in the House GOP had to say: "There is not a chance that a significant #infrastructure stimulus will pass! What will be coming soon, however, is the mother of all debt ceiling crisis and eruption of beltway dysfunction that will finally demolish the notion that #Trump is good for the #economy and the stock market." #politicshttps://dailyreckoning.com/crash-will-violent/
@Leon#WikiLeaks exposes CIA involvement in the 2012 French presidential election. The espionage orders published today are classified and restricted to U.S.eyes only due to "Friends-on-Friends sensitivities". It also places weight on obtaining the candidates attitudes to the EU's economic crisis, centering around their position on the still ongoing Greek debt crisis; the role of France and Germany in it and the vulnerability of government and banks to a Greek default and specific "proposals and recommendations" to deal with "the euro-zone crisis". How wonderful if good friends look after you in difficult times ;-) #gold#politics#economywww.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-16/wikileaks-exposes-cia-involvement-french-2012-presidential-election
@Leon@bluesteele - nothing wrong with that, though its a philosophical discussion as one can see from labour statistics. It's easier said than done to bring unemployed back to work. One reason is they need an "up-date" and further education to get things done in the right way. Another major factor is they got lazy and have difficulties to integrate themself well motivated into the labour process. This whole idea of bringing jobs back to the U.S. and the American people misses some important issues like lack of education, labour skills, factory sites, building / production costs, technological progress, global supply chain, economic decline, impacts on inflation, disposable personal income etc, just to name a few #politics#economy
